lilac and turquoise and blue oh my… lilac and turquoise and blue oh my

After working with Indigo for about two years now, I decided I was ready to venture into new colors.

I had a few learning curve catastrophes along the way but really feel like I have finally gotten a good handle on working with new dyes. I have been busy planning, shopping, tying and dyeing since I decided to participate again in the two annual gift fairs I did last year. This year they fall  on November 19th at the Woodstock Elementary School and  December 4th at Fiber Flame.

My wonderfully talented husband has been helping me photograph some of the new products and my daughter has been helping me choose colors, tie fabrics  and even modeled in one shot. All for one and one for all in this house. We all get involved in pretty much all activities that go on here since they usually over run our dinning room table, laundry room and guest bedroom.

I still love indigo , it is a magical process but this textile lover certainly is enjoying working with an exciting vibrant new color palette.
